As hype surrounding Brad Pitt’s Ulverstone visit reaches fever pitch;Tony Laumberg, Bondi Legal playwright, announces his visit to Ulverstone. Tony will be seated in the public gallery as Brad Pitt (Christopher Bradshaw) takes up the prosecution’s case against Regent Chemicals, represented by the ferocious Simone Crookwell (Donna Allen). Regent Chemicals is accused of selling Frances Denyer (Janine McCullough) a dodgy pony grooming product. Frank Bailey (Dave Hingston), owner of the law firm representing Ms Denyer, could not be reached for comment.

Tony Laumberg has written and produced 13 plays, all staged in Sydney, comprising two productions of Unsolicited Male (2002 & 2003), The Great Divide (2003), The Lucky One at NIDA (2004), Lawyer! Lawyer! (2005), Lawyers in Love (2006), The Adventures of Bunter from the Hinterland (2006), My Fair Lawyer (2007), 2 Weddings & A Lawyer (2008), Bondi Legal (2009), Undercover Lawyer (2010), Find Me a Lawyer (2011), Murder Most Funny! (2012) and The Good, The Bad & The Lawyer (2013).
Tony has written and produced 6 short films in addition to a number of optioned screenplays. He has received 4 development grants to write screenplays from the Australian Film Commission and the NSW Film and Television Office.
As if writing prolifically on the trials and tribulations of lawyers (HA!) was not enough, Tony somehow finds time to run his own legal practice in the Sydney coastal suburb of Rose Bay,
just a stone’s throw from Bondi Beach!
